This delicious and refreshing apple cider and lavender is such an deceotively easy cocktail to make. Made with lavender-infusion and apple cider, this refreshing libation is perfect all year round and we especially love them this time of year too since lavender is blooming everywhere. Of course, the fact that they’re easy to make doesn’t hurt either!
2 hour preparation time
4 tablespoons dried lavender, or 5 fresh sprigs
1/2 cup sugar
750ml apple cider
2 shots gin
To make the lavender simple syrup, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add sugar, stirring to dissolve. Remove from heat and add lavender sprigs. Steep for 20 minutes. Strain and cool. Will keep for two weeks when refrigerated.
Add 2 shots of the cooled lavender simply syrup, ice, gin, and cider to a cocktail shaker. Shake gently for 20 seconds, then strain over a glass filled with iced. Serve with fresh apple slices.
